Luz de Luna originally opened its doors in November 2008 with the idea of promoting culture awareness by supporting local and international artists. After a couple of years at their 25th street location, the variety of artifacts in the store demanded a larger space, so Luz de Luna reopened in the heart of the Mission district, on 24th street and South Van Ness. We offer our clientele vintage items, gift ideas, folk art, and original works from local as well as international artists.
Denise Gonzales, the founder and owner of Luz de Luna, had always had the passion for unique and vintage items and used to collect all kinds of pieces when she was encouraged to open the store by friends. Since opening, Denise has worked day and night to make sure Luz de Luna is the best it can be. The next time you walk through the Mission district in San Francisco, stop by and say hello, Denise is ready to help you find that perfect gift!
